Confederate Heritage Month on WLBB 1330 AM
At 8:30 am this morning, April 1st, I was intrerviewed by Graddick
Communications News Director Eric Jens on Carrollton's WLBB 1330
AM radio's "Community Voice" program.
For 30 minutes, the topic was "Confederate Heritage and History
Month" and it was my pleasure as a member of the Georgia Division
and National SCV "Confederate Heritage and History Month
Committee" headed by Calvin Johnson to share information with them
and the listening audience, which reaches a population of nearly
200,000
Some of the topics covered was the Ga Senate Bill SB27, the West
Ga/East Al area collection ( 18 total - 17 perpetual ! ) of CH&HM
Proclamations, the REAL reason for the WBTS, and what our children
are being taught, which clashes with the truth.
Sweet Home Alabama, Johnny Reb, and Dixie were played during the
intermissions.
It was a very successful interview. I would like to
thank Calvin Johnson, Eric Jens, Bear Hamrick, Kim Fitzgerald,
Jack Bridwell, the area Govts, and Steve Graddick in making
this all possible.
Thanks & God Bless
