It is my pleasure to serve Commander Bridwell as Chairman of the 2009, Confederate History and Heritage Month committee for the Georgia Division SCV. | News Release for Confederate Memorial Day—Sunday April 26th
The Constitution of the Confederates States of
America will be exhibited
from 8:00
am until 5:00 pm on Monday, April, 27, 2009,
in the Hargrett Rare
Book and Manuscript Library (on the 3rd floor of the Main

| Confederate Memorial Service Savannah, April 26 1:00 PM Mr.
Edgerton is a well known African American defender of the Southern
Cause. His speech will be followed by a musket salute by Confederate
infantry and then a 21 gun salute by Confederate artillery. We will
adjourn and move to Laurel Grove Cemetery for a memorial service at
the Gettysburg Lot followed by services at the gravesites of
generals Francis S. Bartow and Lafayette Mclaws. For additional
